Series 162A Disposable Static Mixers

Disposable static mixer for high volume mxing on 2K adhesive application equipment making truck sandwich panels and with RTV silicones.

The Series 162A is our largest bell mouth mix nozzle, this plastic static mixer has a helical type mixing element for high volume mixing and dispensing of glues and resins on metering and dispensing systems. Able to mix and dispense a wide range of reactive two part products such as, Polyurethanes, Epoxy Resins, Acrylics, Silicones, Polysulfides and other adhesives, as well as multiple other two part reactive chemicals.

Intended for high flow rate meter mix applications, this series contains our largest disposable bell mixers: 19.9mm in diameter with either 16, 23, 32, 39 or 48 elements. The rugged nylon housing has an oversized bell inlet. The downstream outlet is designed with a 1/2” NPS male thread to attach extensions or other types of accessories.

We actually use them a lot with our two component metering, mixing and dispensing systems. We have developed a 500 mm disposable plastic spreader bar with integral O-ring (image below), to work with the 162A mixers, a perfect solution for environmentally friendly sandwich panel manufacturing, as we utilize these to eliminate the traditional solvent cleaning process of steel mixers and spreaders, which is both hazardous and expensive.
